Joe, three bays, and a roll of film

Canon Auto Tinting Plus opened in September 2022 in a three-bay garage in Cañon City. Not a franchise buy-in, not a second location of anything — just Joe, a rack of film, and the handful of tools it actually takes to do the job right.

The way in was vehicle customization. Joe has always looked at cars as something you're allowed to have an opinion about: the stance, the wheels, the way the glass reads. Tint sits right in the middle of that. It's the cheapest, most immediate way to make a car feel like a decision rather than a purchase — and it's the one people notice first.

That's why the consultation isn't a formality. Before anything gets cut, Joe will pull samples, hold them on your glass in real daylight, and talk through shade, heat rejection, and what Colorado allows on which window. White, Black, Grey, Orange — the choice is yours, and the point is that you make it knowingly.

The install standard hasn't moved since car number one: film hand-cut and shrunk on the glass, edges tight, no bubbles, no contamination, no "that'll settle out in a week." Somewhere along the line the shop picked up ceramic coating, glass polishing, ozone odor treatment, and window washing for homes and storefronts — same hands, same standard.

And the waiting area is a couch, a TV and snacks, because if you're going to sit through an install you may as well be comfortable. Joe reads and answers nearly every review that comes in — 42+ of them now, averaging 4.9 stars. When it's your name on the LLC, that's just how it works.
